Creating my Autumn Video

Firstly, we created a story board and shot sequence so we had a rough idea of what we would film, the type of shot, sound and the timing of each shot.

WWW's
  1. Although the weather was not appropriate for an Autumn video, I used the sun as an alternative, like using reflections and the rays.
  2. I used a range of shot types such as, extreme close ups, close ups, mid shots, panning sideways and upwards.
  3. In one of my shots, I filmed a bird close up. This has made my video better, as all my other shots are of things that don't really move.
  4. It's a decent video seeing as it's my first one.
  5. The cinematography is good.
EBI's
  1. I need to edit my video better, so that it's runs more smoothly.
  2. Next time, I should use the fig rig to create different effects inside of just panning the camera.
  3. When I'm filming on the tripod, loosen the handle so that when I'm panning, it's smoother.
  4. If I had more time maybe I could capture more interesting shots, so it's not just of similar things, like the sun etc.
  5. I could have added a bit of a narrative to the video, like my first idea, where someone comes and distracts and interrups the peacefulness of autumn and nature.
