Using Live Type

For the past couple of lessons, we have been experimenting with Live Type to create titles that would be used as an indent. We were told to make our own company title using different fonts, transitions and backgrounds to make a professional look. I named my company 'Bubblegum Pop Productions' and selected transitions that resembled bubbles, like floating and bursting effects to enhance the font too. Also, I used an image from Google of a girl blowing bubble gum, and used the picture as a whole background.

WWW:

  • I feel I can work Live Type quite well.
  • I have learnt how to add the Live Type title to a video.
  • The effects and edits I use, relates well to the title. I don't just use random fonts and backgrounds.
EBI:

  • Not to use an image as a whole background because it can look quite boring. Next time, I should use Photoshop to cut out the background so it looks better.
  • Maybe a more appropriate title so it looks more realistic.
  • Make my Live Type title look more interesting by experimenting and mixing up letters, colours and backgrounds.
I think I learnt a lot from this task because Live Type is quite challenging to use. To improve this, I should of used more of a professional looking font to make the introduction more realistic.
