1.
I like your concept behind this idea, how the
tornado is mixing the radio station name. Also, I like that you have used
bright colours to attract your target audience. I think this logo needs to be
clearer in informing the audience what the logo is for.
2.
I like the simplicity of this logo and the fact
it has no colour because it looks cartoon like which could show the young side
of the radio station. I can tell that this logo is associated with music. I
think you could improve this by making the font more predominate in the
picture.
3.
This one is my favourite out of the Mixx logos
because it really shows your intentions of Mixx. The way you have been creative
with the text really stands out and it seems like you have put a lot of thought
and time into this logo. The logo reminds me of a holiday or a club. I would
love to see more colours, but if you decide to keep it black I still think it
will look strong and memorable to your target audience.
Lock
1.
I like how you have imitated the ‘O’ as a key
which I can see a clear link between the word lock, however, I can’t see how
this is portraying a radio station. Despite this, although the logo is all
black, I think the silhouette of the key is quite capturing the eye. Maybe,
instead of the cut out in the key being a regular pattern put a treble clef in
the middle.
2.
I like the idea behind this and the image shows
that it symbolises the word lock. I think that the chain should be bigger so
that it is easier to read the name of the station. I also think that the name
should be made up of a variety of colours so that it is more appealing to the
audience.
3.
I think
that it is clever how you have imitated the ‘O’ as a key hole which shows a
relationship between the image and the radio station name. You need to show
that it is a radio station.
Pulse
1.
I like the concept behind this and it shows your
creativity and it shows how you can manipulate simple images and make them more
complex. I think you could make this better by adding the radio station name to
it to make it stand out more, and also you want your audience to know what the
station is called.
2.
I think that this needs more colour, or shading
to it so it’s more interesting to look at. I like the jumbled text because it
makes the speakers look like they are vibrating, sending a pulse through the text.
Maybe you could find a font that is more iconic and capturing to make the logo
more intricate.
3.
This is my favourite logo for Pulse because it
is intelligent and the use of colours is capturing to me. The heart illustrates
where a pulse is made, but you have made it more comical by drawing music notes
coming from the veins. Even without text, I think this shows your audience that
it is related to music.
